Men’s first team finish runners-up in Middlesex Super 6 League

Congratulations to AEK London, who have won the post-lockdown mini-competition the Middlesex Super 6 League.

The tournament saw six Middlesex County Football League teams compete against each other after the regular season was abandoned.

Our men’s first team ended up runners-up, but unbeaten, with wins over AEK London, NW London and Cricklewood Wanderers and draws with Sporting Hackney and Stonewall.

AEK pipped us to first place with a 1-0 win over Sporting Hackney on Saturday after victories over Stonewall and NW London and a walkover against Cricklewood Wanderers.

Nevertheless, player-manager Geoff Ocran was pleased with the tournament, being able to give extended runs in the side to the likes of teenagers Samba Badjana and Noah Adejokun and new signings Musa Manneh and Arthur Wright.
