Clapton CFC have been forced to tweak our donate-what-you-want admission policy which had been in place since formation in 2018.
After two promotions, our Men’s First Team have reached a level where FA rules state clubs must charge a minimum admission. In the Eastern Counties League Division One South, the minimum charge for standard admission for league games is £4. There is no maximum, but all other clubs charge between £5 and £8.
There is no minimum admission price at the level our Women’s First Team play in. However, to maintain equity, we suggest a £4 standard admission donation for Women’s First Team games too.
This means our admission prices for 2023/2024 season are as follows:
Admission: £4
Concessions: Pay what you want
Under 13s: Free
Concessions include:
- Clapton CFC members
- Newham residents
- Teenagers (13 to 19)
- Over 60s
- Students and apprentices
- Trade union members
- Unemployed people and those on low income
- People with disabilities and health conditions
- Refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants
No ID is required to qualify for concessions, we will take your word for it. At the turnstile, just say that you are a concession (you don’t need to say which) and pay what what you want.
If you do not fit any of the above concession categories, we must charge you £4 by FA rules.
We will continue to print programmes for all competitive women’s and men’s first team home games, which are free to take, but donations welcome to help cover printing costs.
