Clapton CFC Youth Training has been running since April 2019.
Since the first session with 13 children, we now run multiple sessions in Forest Gate and Walthamstow for over 100 children between 5 and 14.
Our sessions and teams are based on the belief that every child should be able to enjoy football, regardless of ability, gender and income.
Our matches and training sessions are fun and inclusive and operate on a pay what you can afford policy.
We have run a homework club in the Old Spotted Dog clubhouse, where kids could drop in and get help with their schoolwork from a qualified tutor.
Working with The Magpie Project, we have provided a space for many vulnerable kids and refugees, who have not had the access that their peers have.
We have also become a home for kids who have struggled in the highly competitive academy style set ups.
We are always on the look out for new coaches and volunteers. Whether you’re a qualified coach, someone with no experience looking to gain your coaching badges or a complete newcomer interested in helping kids develop through sports – we need you. Please get in touch
