Young Tons

We believe kids should be able to play football, regardless of price, ability and gender.

Our matches and training sessions are fun and inclusive and operate on a pay what you can afford policy.

Open kids training in Walthamstow

Our open training sessions for all kids who want to kick a ball are every Wednesday at 6pm on the 3G at Wadham Lodge, Walthamstow.

Training is provided by CCFC members with support from players including Alice Williams, Jack Francis, Dean Bouho and Phil Blakesley.

Open training in Forest Gate

We are planning a second weekly session in Forest Gate aimed at young people in Newham aged 13+.

To do so we need grow our team of volunteers. Get in touch if you are someone that can commit a few hours a week.

Under 8s team in league

We’ve formed our first youth team, a mixed Under 8s, who have joined a Saturday morning league in Hackney.

Call out for players

New players can just come along, but ideally please register interest beforehand at youngtons@claptoncfc.co.uk so we know numbers.

Please provide the name and age of anyone who wants to join in and we’ll be in touch.

Call out for coaches

Our long-term aim is to grow the size and number of our sessions – and build teams.

We are looking for more coaches and volunteers that want to be a part of this.

Whether you just want to help out or you aspire to do your badges and see yourself potentially coaching a youth team in the future, get in touch on youngtons@claptoncfc.co.uk.
