The 12 teams who will be in the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League Division One North for 2025/26 have been announced by the FA today.
There’s a bigger than usual shake-up including several teams switching laterally between the L&SERWFL D1 North and South.
On the map, our division’s teams are in green pins – note the seaside trip to Herne Bay…

Five stay the same
Clapton CFC Women’s First Team will be joined by five of last season’s opponents in Actonian Reserves, Bromley, Dulwich Hamlet Reserves, Hackney and Richmond & Kew.
Six hellos
Three teams have been laterally moved from the L&SERWFL D1 South in Herne Bay, Soccer Elite Football Academy and Welling United.
Two teams have been promoted from the division below in Camden Town and Hammersmith and one team relegated to join us in Ashford United.
We have played Soccer Elite, Ashford United and Welling United in cup games before.
Six goodbyes
It means we lose Ashmount Leigh and Leatherhead to lateral moves to the L&SERWFL D1 South and Denham United to Southern Region Women’s Football League.
We also say farewell to Brentford, who are promoted, and Richmond Park and AFC Whyteleafe, who were relegated.
These allocations are subject to approval at upcoming League AGMs and any subsequent appeals.
