Two Clapton CFC men’s first team stars make step up the divisions

We’re proud to announce that two of the men’s first team have been snapped up by higher division sides on a dual registration basis.

Noah Adejokun has put pen to paper at Isthmian Premier side East Thurrock United, four levels above us.

Pacey striker Noah, who has just turned 20, has bagged 6 goals in 13 games so far this season, plus 8 assists.

It’s been 15 goals in 34 games in total since he scored on his competitive debut as a sub against Sporting Hackney in August 2019.

Meanwhile talented winger Lewis Owiredu has signed for Romford FC, in the Isthmian Division One North, three levels higher.

Owiredu, aged 23, has scored 3 in 7 for the Tons so far this season, and 17 in 28 goals in total for us.

He has made two sub appearances so far for the Boro following his dual registration.

They both have aspirations of playing at a higher level and have had the blessing from the management team to test themselves and gain new experiences.

These aren’t the only players over the past few seasons who have been approached to go and play higher.

Both are dual signed, which means if they are not involved for their new clubs, they can turn out for us instead. Congratulations to both.
