First ever CCFC Dogs Day at the Old Spotted Dog Ground on March 1

The Women’s First Team have designated their next home match on Sunday, March 1, as the first ever Clapton CFC Dogs Day.

Dogs (on leads of course) are always welcome at our home games – how could they not be when our ground is called the Old Spotted Dog Ground?

However, we’ll be hoping to welcome even more for the CCFC Dogs Day which coincides with the league game against Soccer Elite Football Academy, kick off 2pm.

It’s free entry for dogs and their owners can pay what they want. The folks behind the great @nonleaguedogs account will be joining us and are bringing some badges and stickers and every dog will get a free toy also.

The record for the number of dogs at a women’s football game is believed to be 36 – could we break that?

PS If you don’t like dogs – don’t worry they’re all on leads and there will be many more humans there (and foxes after the game has ended, maybe one of our cat visitors too).
