May 2019 income and expenditure

In May 2019, Clapton CFC spent £24,333.30 and donated an additional £1,212.14 to FC Roast (half the entrance donations for our game against them on 11 May).

We also gave £187.64 each to the Laylac Center, a youth centre in Bethlehem, for their library and to Different Strokes, a charity that supports to younger stroke survivors in the UK.

Our largest cost (£16,318) for the second month in a row was payment to HM Revenue and Customs for VAT collected on sales of our replica shirts. Other associated costs were payments for production of shirts (£3,450.41) and for posting them out (£139.38).

In May, the other large cost was for flights for sending a 19-strong men’s first team squad to Berlin for their game against Roter Stern Leipzig on 10 August.

Total income in May 2019 was £7,856.93.
