We are delighted to announce that Johanna Kuosa has been appointed head coach of the Women’s/NB Reserves team.

She was voted in by the team and the committee, and has been a big part of the CCFC community for the past seven years, joining in 2019 when Open Access formed.

Johanna is well placed to lead the Reserves, having spent the last two seasons as assistant to Amii Griffith (who stood down as Reserves’ head coach in May).

Between them, they secured the team’s promotion into Division 1 of the Greater London Women’s Football League.

We can’t wait to see Johanna lead the team into next season.

Johanna is now looking for an assistant coach (or two) too. Preferably you’d have some coaching experience/qualifications or are keen to gain those.

There is potentially an opportunity for funding and support for your badges, and expenses to be paid. You’ll have an opportunity to design and lead sessions and develop your skills.

The team play in the GLWFL Div1 North on Sundays and train on Thursday evenings in East London. Please email womensteams@claptoncfc.co.uk to express your interest.
