Clapton CFC will make their Men’s FA Cup debut on Saturday, August 8 in the Extra Preliminary Round.

The CCFC Men’s First Team will start the road to Wembley with a home game at the Old Spotted Dog Ground against Benfleet.

The winners of that tie will be home again on Saturday, August 24 in the Preliminary Round against the winners of Concord Rangers and Bedfont Sports.

The Men’s FA Cup is nowadays only for teams in Step 5 or above, so our promotion last season means we qualify for the first time ever.

The FA Vase was also drawn today and CCFC start with another home tie. We will welcome Long Melford on Saturday, August 15 in the Extra Preliminary Round.

The winners will be away from in the Preliminary Round against either Enfield Borough or Heybridge Swifts on Saturday, September 12.
