Southend Manor FC vs Clapton Community FC takes place on Saturday, January 24 2026 with a 3pm kick off at Southchurch Park Arena, Northumberland Crescent, Southend-on-Sea SS1 2XB.
Join us by the seaside on Saturday as the Men’s First Team go in search of a first win of 2026 in their third game. This will be our first first trip to Southend since 2023 and it’s relatively easy to get there.
It’s now very tight in the play-off race, with just three points separating third place and CCFC, who are now in seventh on goal difference. Teams below are also in the mix so it promises to be an exciting/nervy last 14 games of the season.
About the opposition
Formed in 1955 by East Londoners Doris and Gil Medcalf formerly of Eton Manor, they have played at Southchurch Park Arena since 1985, when they joined the Essex Senior League. They won the title in 1991 but weren‘t promoted and stayed in the division until relegation in 2023. Owner Jerry Omango – another East Londoner – took over in 2019 and has both improved the ground massively and built up the youth section.
Previous meetings
Earlier this season, we won the home game 2-1, through goals from James Briggs and Adam Sidky.
In 2023/24, we won 2-0 away thanks to two goals from Charlie Fagan. In the return home game, it was a 1-0 victory through Noah Adejokun’s strike.
