The football is over but it’s not long before it all starts cranking up again. Here are some important dates for the summer.
Note that there are no fixtures at the Old Spotted Dog Ground until July 19 due to summer pitch improvements.
Women’s First Team
- June – Trials for new players across several dates
- June 25 – London & South East Regional Women’s Football League’s AGM
- July 13 – Away friendly vs Eastbourne Borough
- July 20 – Away friendly vs Watford Development
- Late July – First batch of league fixtures are due to be released
- Early August – Women’s FA Cup draw due to take place
- August 3 – Home friendly vs Haringey Borough
- August 10 – Home friendly vs Comets
- August 17 – L&SERWFL season begins
Men’s First Team
- June – Trials for new players with Step 6 or above experience
- June 28 – Eastern Counties League’s AGM
- July 4 – FA Vase draw due to take place
- July 5 – Friendly vs Lymore Gardens at Oakside Stadium
- July 9 – Friendly vs Hackney Wick at Parsloe Park
- July 12 – Away friendly vs Peacehaven & Telscombe
- July 15 – Friendly vs Sporting Bengal United at Stepney Green
- Mid-to late July – ECL league fixtures expected to be announced
- July 19 – Home game vs Dunstable Town in the Brian Lomax Cup
- July 23 – Home friendly TBC
- July 26 – ECL league season due to begin
We will also have stalls at these summer events
- Forest Gate Pride: Sat, June 28, stall from 11am to around 4pm
- Unions East Community Festival: Sun, June 29, stall from 1pm to 5pm
- Forest Gate Festival: Sat, July 5, stall from around 11am to 5pm
And possibly West Ham Park Fest 25 on Sun, July 13.
