Geoff Ocran’s newly promoted men’s first team have arranged four pre-season friendlies ahead of their debut at Step 6.
The team won the Middlesex County Football League Premier Division title, moving up to the Eastern Counties League Division One South for 2023/2024, which is Step 6.
They will face three teams higher up in the football pyramid, most notably Step 3 team FC United of Manchester at the Old Spotted Dog Ground, as part of a double header with the women’s first team.
There are also two tests against two Step 5 teams, Woodford Town and Takeley, both of the Essex Senior League.
All games are subject to change, of course!
The friendlies fixture list
- July 1 vs Woodford Town – at Old Spotted Dog Ground
- July 8 vs Takeley – at Mabley Green, Hackney
- July 15 vs FC United of Manchester – at Old Spotted Dog Ground
- July 22 vs Woodford East – at Mayesbrook Park, Barking
The Eastern Counties League season is due to start on the following Saturday (July 29).
The women’s first team friendlies are still to be arranged, aside from the FC St Pauli and FCUM games.
