Next up for the men’s first team away game is a trip to form side Stonewall FC on Saturday in what unusually is an all-ticket game.
The spectator capacity for Stonewall’s home ground, the London Marathon Stadium in Stratford, is just 300 as the only place to sit or stand is in the main stand.
All 300 free tickets were snapped up within days.
If you have a ticket and can’t come, please do follow the link on your order email to cancel so it can be reallocated.
You can make a donation to Stonewall FC, and/or the club’s official charity Mermaids, at bucket collections at the game.
This will be part of Football v Homophobia month and there will also be a social event after the game for Stonewall and Clapton CFC fans.
Stonewall are the runaway form side in the Middlesex County Football League right now, winning all four games in 2022, including against the two promotion favourites FC Soma and NW London.
They’ve now stormed up the table into fifth, just behind CCFC in third, while we shared a goalless draw earlier in the season.
Previous games between our teams have nearly always been goal-fests – an average of more than four goals a match – and 2,631 people have been through the turnstiles.
Stonewall FC vs Clapton CFC is on Saturday, February 12 2022 at 2pm at the London Marathon Community Track, Stratford. E20 2ST
The venue is an athletics stadium with only one stand for spectators. There’s nowhere else to sit or stand inside the ground due to the running track.
The capacity is 300, split equally between home and away supporters. CCFC fans can book a free ticket here.
If you book a ticket but are then unable to attend, you can return your ticket on the page so it can be reallocated.
The event is free but you can make a donation on the entrance to help Stonewall with operating costs, and at half-time in support of the club’s charity Mermaids. Donations will be possible by cash or card.
There is strictly no pyro or glass allowed, but you can bring drums, flags, banners and alcohol (maximum four cans).
There is a cafe next door to the facility within the West Ham United shop serving teas, coffee and snacks.
There will be matchday programmes for sale at £2 a programme.
There will be limited toilets available on the day and these will be gender neutral.
The nearest stations are Pudding Mill Lane DLR, 5 minutes walk away, while Stratford and Hackney Wick are 15 minutes walk.
The nearest parking are at Westfield shopping centre, 15 minutes walk away.
Bins will be provided on the day, please do your bit and clean all your litter away.
