Big game at the Old Spotted Dog Ground next on September 13

After a frantic start to the season with eight home games in August, September at the Old Spotted Dog Ground is much less busy. In fact there are only three games, with the next being on Sunday, September 13.

The CCFC Women’s First Team are at home and it’s a huge game against Camden United, the team who just missed out on promotion last season and who are among this season’s favourites. With no Men’s First Team home game the day before, this is the perfect opportunity to show up. Let’s get a similar crowd to our Saturday games.

After the full-time whistle we’re hosting our first annual club photo day, inviting players from each and every CCFC team to come along and have their photo taken in our club kit. From all youth teams and 5-a-side teams to Devs, Over 35s, Reserves, FTFA and First Teams, plus all of their coaches, everyone is invited to get their portrait taken by our brilliant club photographers. We can also do team and group photos.

Photographs of youth teams will be shared with parents/coaches for their private use. For adult teams, we’d also like to use them on the website and social media where appropriate.

Members can also get involved in the photo day. After the game, we’re looking for some people to be photographed in the away kit and the trans solidarity kit and with other merch items to go on our online store. Despite having kept the same away shirt since 2018, we’ve never taken photos of the kit outside of match action.

More details to follow but you have a week to tweak your plans and be at the Old Spotted Dog Ground on Sunday, September 13 – kick off 2pm.
