First annual player photo day at the Old Spotted Dog Ground

After a frantic start to the season with eight home games in August, September at the Old Spotted Dog Ground is much less busy. In fact there are only three games, with the next being on Sunday, September 13.

The CCFC Women’s First Team are at home and it’s a huge game against Camden Town, the team who just missed out on promotion last season and who are among this season’s favourites. With no Men’s First Team home game the day before, this is the perfect opportunity to show up. Let’s get a similar crowd to our Saturday games.

Gates and bar will open from 1pm, kick off 2pm, Fusion Food will be there, and we’ll have music after the game plus Arsenal Women vs Crystal Palace on the screen.

After the full-time whistle we’re hosting our first annual club photo day, inviting players from each and every CCFC team to come along and have their photo taken in our club kit. From all youth teams and 5-a-side teams to Devs, Over 35s, Reserves, FTFA and First Teams, plus all of their coaches, everyone is invited to get their portrait taken by our brilliant club photographers. We will do individual photos plus team photos.

Photographs of youth teams will be shared with parents/coaches for their private use. For adult teams, we’d also like to use them on the website and social media where appropriate.

Members can also get involved in the photo day. After the game, we’re looking for some people to be photographed in the away kit and the trans solidarity kit and with other merch items to post on our online store. Despite having kept the same away shirt since 2018, we’ve never taken photos of the kit outside of match action.
