Clapton CFC will be back in underdog mode in the Women’s FA Cup third qualifying round after being drawn against AFC Sudbury, who play two divisions above us.

The tie will take place away at their King’s Marsh Stadium on Sunday, October 5, kick off 2pm. This is our 12th away tie out of 17 in the competition in our history.

The draw was announced today following yesterday’s 1-0 cup win away at Histon (celebrations pictured above).

That victory means we have collected £4800 prize money from the FA so far which will help all our teams this season, including our newly-formed FTFA team playing in an inclusive league outside the FA’s jurisdiction.
