The Clapton CFC Women’s First Team are back on the road in the FA Cup after the earliest two rounds were drawn today.

We have been handed a bye from the Preliminary Round and will then travel to AFC Welwyn on Sunday, September 6 in the First Round Qualifying. This will our 13th away tie in the 18 FA Cup ties in our history.

AFC Welwyn play in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division One South – that’s the same tier 6 level as us – having been promoted following an unbeaten season in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Women’s Football League. They play home games at Welwyn Garden City FC’s Herns Way Stadium.
