The Clapton Community Library of football and politics books is now open.

The library trolley was installed in the Old Spotted Dog Ground clubhouse on Saturday after being taken on a tour around the ground, as the photos show.

CCL is a community library built on donations and is free and easy to use:

• Leave your donated books about football or politics in the designated space on the trolley
• Follow the instructions on the trolley to take out a book

The library was mostly inspired by Booked! a library set up by supporters of Portland Timbers.

Developing a community resource for our members and local residents to use is something we are very proud of. It’s what the ‘community’ in our football club’s name is all about. Happy reading!
