Another trophy for the cabinet as CCFC Massives grab runners-up spot

The Clapton CFC Massives 5a side team won the Super 5 League’s Flexi division last season and so were promoted to the Intermediate B for the summer season, which came to an end this week.

It was a steep learning curve with significantly higher level teams, but they rose to the challenge and finished the season as runners up, meaning another trophy for the Old Spotted Dog Ground cabinet.

On top of it all they also lifted the tournament trophy in Amsterdam in the middle of the season!

As all good things must come to an end, this was their final season as one of the Clapton CFC 5a side teams and they’ll now continue on their own to allow other players to come in and represent CCFC.

A few of the team have joined the women’s development team and some can be seen playing with the open access

The players wish to thank the club for its support over the years, and give a special thanks to the coaches Ellie and Julie who have guided them this far. Forza Clapton!
