Clapton CFC is delighted to announce the expansion of its Young Tons programme in the form of a new coaching session for girls and non-binary young people of all abilities aged 13-16. The sessions will take place on Fridays, starting on the 21st of May 2021, at Forest Gate School, E7 on a ‘pay-what-you-can-afford’ basis.

Sessions will be run by fellow Ton and FA qualified coach, Chelsie Sparks, with the assistance of members of the women’s first team. The sessions will make accessible much needed coaching for teenage girls in Newham, and offer a long term pathway into Clapton’s women’s teams. In addition to football coaching, the girls will also get the opportunity to engage in youth-related workshops, offering the chance for them to develop on and off the pitch.
