Barkingside FC vs Clapton Community FC takes place on Monday, December 29 2025 with a 7:45pm kick off at Cricklefield Stadium, 3 Cricklefield Place, Seven Kings, Ilford, IG1 1FY.
Join us on Monday for our last game of 2025.
It’s our closest derby of the season, with Cricklefield Stadium less than 4 miles away from the Old Spotted Dog Ground, or just 3 stops on the Elizabeth Line from Forest Gate to Seven Kings.
Having not played on Saturday, we dropped down to sixth place, so this is a chance to end the year in the play-offs with a win.
About the opposition
Barkingside FC was established in 1888. They have won a number of honours throughout their long history, including a couple of league titles and several league cup trophies, while playing variously in the London, Essex, and South Midland Leagues. They have played at this level since 2019.
Previous meetings
Two seasons ago, we did the double. In the away game at Cricklefield, we edged it 2-1 with goals from James Briggs and Terry Amoafo. At home, it was a 4-0 victory thanks to a Julian Austin hat-trick and a Sherwin Stanley.
Form guide
Manager Elliott Thompson took over in late September. After a sticky start to the season, Barkingside are still in the bottom three but have picked up in recent weeks including a win against Enfield Borough and draws against Cannons Wood and AS London.
