The Clapton CFC Women’s First Team will host Denham United in the first round of the Capital Women’s Cup – Intermediate.

The tie will take place at the Old Spotted Dog Ground on Sunday, November 16 at 2pm.

Denham have been regular opponents over the past few years in the league, though not this season as they were laterally transferred to Southern Region Women’s Football League. It’s been a success so far, as they have won 5 out of 5 to sit top of the table.

The Capital Women’s Cup – Intermediate is for teams in the Greater London area playing at our level, the one above, or the one below.

We’ve not had much luck in this competition since reaching the final in 2021/22, when we lost 1-0 to Dorking Wanderers.
