Clapton CFC will play away at Histon in this season’s Women’s FA Cup second qualifying round on Sunday, September 21.

The draw was announced today following yesterday’s 9-0 win against Romford Town.

Histon are top of the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division One North – the same tier at Clapton. They narrowly missed promotion last season in runners-up spot but have started in even better form with four wins out of four.

They play at Bridge Road in Impington, Cambridgeshire, an impressive stadium which has hosted National League football when their men’s team was higher up the pyramid.
