Over the past few years big improvements have been made at Clapton CFC’s home, the Old Spotted Dog Ground, but it still isn’t fully accessible.
Narrow, uneven paths mean people in wheelchairs or with mobility needs struggling to reach key areas like the seated stand and the toilet block.
So the Old Spotted Dog Ground Trust have a plan to create flat, durable walkways along the southern side (Ham Park Road, where the seated stand and toilets are) and eastern side (Walter Tull Way) of the pitch.

At this same time they will install a secure perimeter pitch fence made from recycled scaffold poles, creating a safer, more welcoming space for all supporters.
This project is a big step forward, but it comes with significant costs.

How you can help
We need to raise £10,000 to make it happen – please support if you can. Every donation will bring us closer to making our ground fully accessible, safe, and sustainable for all.
To save money, the work will be carried out by volunteers, so if you would like to get involved in the project, please contact trust@oldspotteddog.org.
Do you know of any grants that could help with the cost? Please contact trust@oldspotteddog.org
