Clapton Community FC’s Men’s Over 35s will be stepping into new territory next season, as they join the Essex Veterans League for the 2025/26 campaign.
The team will compete in Division 3 (West), facing a mix of well-established veterans’ sides and fellow newcomers.

The Over 35s will play their home matches at the Matchday Centre at Wadham Lodge in Walthamstow on the pitch known as ‘The Lost Dog’ aka the LRT Sports Ground.
The side’s first Essex Veterans League fixture will take place on Saturday, September 20 2025, with the fixture list promising plenty of away trips into Essex.
Alongside their league campaign, the team will also compete in a packed cup calendar, including:

- London FA Veterans Cup
- League Cup
- Division Cup
The Men’s Over 35s squad is looking forward to testing themselves against fresh opposition and bringing the club’s distinctive community spirit to a new competition.
