The Clapton CFC Women’s First Team have been drawn away to Hastings United in the first round of the London & South East Regional Women’s League Cup.

The tie will take place at their Pilot Field ground on Sunday, October 12 at 2pm.

It should be a close tie as Hastings finished eighth in the L&SERWFL Division One South, while CCFC finished seventh in the North.

Last season we exited the L&SERWFL Cup at the first hurdle, losing 1-0 at home to Aylesford who went on to win the title.

This is one of two cup competitions that the league operates. In the L&SERWFL Trophy, it was 2-0 to Clapton CFC in the final against Dulwich Hamlet Reserves last season but the game was incorrectly ended early by stadium and league officials.
