Clapton CFC Men’s First Team lost for the first time this summer in a friendly against fellow fan-owned Peacehaven & Telscombe.

It was a bit of a makeshift Clapton squad who could make it down to the South Coast, including five players who arrived late, which meant pushing kick off back 15 minutes.

After a competitive first half, our higher division hosts eased to a 3-0 victory in the relentless heat, watched over by Superman and other kites from next door’s Peacehaven Fair.
