We’re excited to announce that our Men’s Development Team will be holding trials in the next few weeks! This is your chance to join us for the Inner London Football Summer League throughout July and August, which will be serve as pre-season for the squad.

Our Dev Team plays in the Premier Division of the Hackney and Leyton League. You’ll find us on the legendary Hackney Marshes every Sunday morning from September to May for all our matches.

The Dev team is the stepping stone to our Men’s First Team. We’re proud of the strong track record of players who’ve developed with us and then moved up. Think of players like Bailey Pryce, Alasdair Gurney, Felix Murray, and Jake Wintour – they all honed their skills with the Devs first. They’re playing alongside some CCFC 1st team legends who are now with the Devs to help guide players through, like Cemal Agdelen and Stef Kilron.

Our other trials

The Men’s First Team will be holding trials in June too. Send your football CV to mensfirstteam@claptoncfc.co.uk. Preference is for players with Step 6 experience or higher so if you don’t have that, it’s unlikely you’d be invited to trial. Therefore we’d strongly advise you to seek a trial with the Development Team and look to progress from there.

We’ll also be hosting three trials in June for players who want to join our Women’s First Team and Reserves – plus two extra trial dates for keepers too. Email womensteams@claptoncfc.co.uk to register your interest in coming along and to find out more information.
