On May 15, we were given the news that the Clapton CFC Men’s First Team had been allocated in the Southern Counties East Football League Division One for a second season.

We had formally requested a lateral move back to the Eastern Counties League Division One South, but this was declined.

Our appeal document was submitted on May 23, and the appeal will be heard by an FA panel on June 4. The cost of lodging the appeal was £100.

The result will likely be known a week or so after that.
