Clapton CFC life members Mike Fogg, Iain Hollowell and Martin McShea remembered with minute’s applause

Thanks to all who took part in the minute’s applause for Mike Fogg, Martin McShea and Iain Hollowell before Saturday’s men’s first team game versus OIR.

The fact that Clapton CFC owns the Old Spotted Dog Ground – the first football club to do so – is in no small measure down to three life members who have died in recent years.

Each of them loved this place, and played an essential part in sparing the OSD from the developers from 1979 onwards.

All three men were life members of Clapton Community Football Club and are sadly missed. They would have loved to have been here to see what the CCFC, and its members, have achieved.
