With the cold weather kicking in, Clapton CFC invited spectators at last weekend’s home games to donate old coats as part of the annual Wrap Up London campaign.
We’ve collected in previous years, but we had a record number of donations this year, probably about 50 or so coats!
Among those were donations from Fulham FC and Wormley Rovers, our opponents at the Old Spotted Dog Ground across the weekend.

Coats and jackets of all sizes are gratefully received, from puffa to parka and duffle to down. However, duvets, sleeping bags or other clothes can’t be accepted. Once collected, the coats are sorted and distributed to other charities who make sure they reach those who need them.
