Introduction

This privacy policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give to us when you become a member of Clapton Community Football Club.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and we will never release your personal details to any third party without your express consent.

When you complete an application to join the club, certain personal information is collected from you (such as your name and email address). You can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We collect the following information

  • Name and surname;
  • Date of Birth;
  • Current Address;
  • Email address

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to administer your membership (there’s information ee legally need to collect from you) and for club correspondence (such as updates, minutes, voting papers and membership renewal).

Clapton Community Football Club will retain your personal information on our club membership database (on MemberMojo) for the duration of your membership. If you wish to cancel your membership, we will delete the information that we hold on you as soon as reasonably possible (and no longer than 5 working days).

You have a right to request what information that we may hold about you and to rectify this information – please email membership@claptoncfc.co.uk. We will try to reply as soon as possible (and no longer than 5 working days).

We take your privacy seriously and all personal information is held on secure servers. 

Under General Data Protection Regulations you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think there is a problem in the way your data is being handled.

We may need to change or update this policy from time to time – we will notify you accordingly.
