Over the weekend of the 1st & 2nd of December Trees for cities will be holding a mass tree planing all over London including 15,000 trees that need to be planted in East London (Fairlop) on the 1st, and a further 3,000 trees in Enfield on the 2nd. They are asking volunteers to sign up at.

It was unclear if Clapton had a game this weekend but if your not at the football let's make east London a green, edible place to live!

We do have a game on the Saturday but there's always Sunday. Looks like all the sessions are fully booked, though. Good news!

Is there something we should consider planting at either the Stray Dog or in future the Old Spotted Dog?

Next planting: Hackney Downs, 10am Saturday 15/12/2018 (slightly problematic for us St Pauli fans) and the last matchday of 2018.

Good idea, something connected with longevity I'd imagine. An oak springs to mind.
