Re: Fixtures?
Quick update: the ESL has released their fixtures (i.e. including Walthamstow’s) but they don’t seem set in stone yet as we have noticed a few have changed since the initial release. So we’re waiting for them to settle down a bit until we send our ground availability form to the MCFL, hopefully earl...

Downs FC
Any update? Last I remember hearing I think they were looking for new coaching & management team? Apologies if I’ve missed an update somewhere.

Fixtures?
Not for a while I’d imagine - they are still waiting on clubs’ ground availability, some of which (including us) depends on fixtures in higher leagues being released first.
If it’s anything like Div 1 they’ll release them in batches anyway, i.e. only a few at first.

Acid FC
https://twitter.com/ClaptonCFC/status/1092080108662386690 Saw this on Twitter today and have seen mention before of Acid FC in the programme as well I think. From looking at their site it seems that they are a football clothing company (some of the t-shirts currently reduced from £50 to a bargain £2...

Re: A couple of suggestions
Thanks for the feedback, yeah I meant controversial in that as far as I know we haven't ever asked/demanded anything of players. Will think about raising it as a proposal at a future meeting, to be honest it would probably be easier to implement it from next season, if it does go ahead (rather than ...

A couple of suggestions
Hi all, Would be good to start using the forum to ping ideas around / suggest things to other committees imo. A couple that I’ve been thinking about recently: We could have a regular open training session (maybe once a month?) where anyone can turn up - I notice that Stonewall do this every week. Wo...

Re: Ground Maintenance proposal
I'm not on the Grounds Maintenance Whatsapp. Screenshot of Telegram chat with Glyn. In summary it wouldn't have fixed concrete footings under ground but would be built off scaffold boards to stop it sinking in. I presume the scaffolding contractors are saying self weight would be enough to stop it ...

Re: Ground Maintenance proposal
One thing I was wondering is how it’ll be attached to the ground - i.e. what the foundations will be. Sorry if that was in the proposal & I missed it - don’t remember seeing it

Ground Maintenance proposal
All members should have received an email with a proposal from Ground Maintenance committee to erect a shelter at the Stray Dog. If not, check your junk folder, then email info@claptoncfc.co.uk if still not.

Re: Thursday's General Meeting
Hi all, Sorry minutes haven't been circulated yet, this is completely my fault - things (Clapton & IRL) have been pretty busy lately and have overwhelmed me slightly. I have typed them up and shared with another member who helps with secretary stuff to see if there is anything to add - hopefully...
