Re: Livestream for the final
It's a good idea. The Comms group will try their best to get this sorted for both finals.

I had a really stupid argument with some gammon on the Non-League Matters forum about CCFC and decided in the end to stick my money where my mouth was and become a member. Hoping to get down to a game soon.

Re: Ideas on how to help international members get involved
Being from Canada, it's always been tough for me to get involved at every fan owned club i've been a member to. I think it would be a good idea to find ways to get people who joined as i did to be able to get involved as quickly as possible. In my opinion, there are two ways to do so. First, we can...

Re: A couple of suggestions
In terms of players being members, in favour of that too, just wondering how it would work. Would we charge and if so would it be the same price or have a separate player rate? Do you have to be a member before being registered to play a game, or is it after a certain number of games? And if you le...

Re: A couple of suggestions
Re open training sessions. Love the idea. This was something referenced at the general meeting but for Downs FC or part of the new development committee to run on CCFC's behalf. As a member of the 1st team, I'm happy to speak to Geoff and co about it. It would need to be separate to their Wednesday ...

Re: Tree Planting in East London
We do have a game on the Saturday but there's always Sunday. Looks like all the sessions are fully booked, though. Good news!
Is there something we should consider planting at either the Stray Dog or in future the Old Spotted Dog?

Re: Thursday's General Meeting
So what actually happened at the meeting? OK I was actually present so to some extent I'm in the know, but I do wonder whether those of our 900+ members who couldn't be physically present might be just a little curious? The general meeting was announced in Clapton CFC Newsletter 15, and then later ...

Re: Thursday's General Meeting
I definitely feel we can improve the meetings. particularly to avoid the same people speaking regularly. But it's the first one, we will get better.
Some items for next agenda while I remember: women's team plans, youth team/s plans, FA Charter Standard plans.

Re: South Kilburn Reserves vs Clapton CFC
Yesterday was about as basic as you can get! But nice pub, sunny weather and the lads did well to come back again for the win.
Stefan Nielsen deservedly named man of the match, but good performances across the pitch.
Now it's back to the Stray Dog.
